Effective January 1, 2013, the Health Service System Board has approved these revised rules, which govern member and dependent benefits. The rules cover a wide range of topics including member and dependent eligibility, coverage periods, requirements for continuing HSS administered health coverage in retirement, and the process for member appeals and grievances. All HSS members should familiarize themselves with these rules.
