Walk 20-30 minutes at least 5 days a week. Emphasize low-fat, low-sodium foods, and lots of fruits (no sugar) and vegetables (plain, steamed), along with other high-fiber foods (whole grain bread, oatmeal etc.). Take senior multivitamin daily, and calcium 2 times a day. Also drink 2-3 cups non-fat milk daily. Always eat low-fat high-fiber breakfast; almost always sit down with family for dinner, usually home-cooked from scratch -- very few prepared foods. Schedule regular health check-ups. TRY to sleep 7-8 hours a night. Enjoy family, friends, and work.

Moderate/strenous exercise 3-4 times a week. Exercises include gym work-outs, tennis, and bicycling. I try to maintain a balanced diet high in fiber and low in fats. Limited amounts of meat in diet.

I go to the YMCA six days a week for water aerobics, Tai Chi and do the fitlix machines. I also watch what I eat, plenty of fruits and vegetables and of course some dark chocolate after each dinner. I stay in touch with my former co-workers and made many new friends at the Y. We do lunches, walks and talking sessions. I also go on some trips, such as cruises and land tours.

try to eat nutricious food, balanced diet, moderate excercise, no soft drinks..a few glasses of wine a week...some months none at all due to being out of state caring for elderly parent...take medications and vitimins

walk or swim in warm water. I have a back injury and used to do so many physical activites but these are the only ones left for me. I also try to eat 5 serving of fruits and veggies and stay away from refined sugar.
