Kaiser has all services in one structure. When choose a doctor look for someone with experince.

I like the treatment received from my doctor. They need to make sure they retain excellent, smart, caring physicians like the one I have. It is important to find physicians you like and trust, no matter what plan you belong to. (and at Kaiser that is relatively easy and inexpensive to do.)

Good care and quick response when needed. when we need to see a specialists in seeking care ,there was no delay in getting it in relative quick time. they could improve customer service.

While Kaiser is somewhat a big machine organization on a personal level the staff and doctors acted with care and compassion. The actual indivdual care at Kaiser is personable, efficient and caring. I rarely pick up medication at the Main Pharmacy but was required to so this year. It can be a very ardous and trying experience dealing with the Main Pharmacy. I called 2 days ahead to have the prescription ready only to arrive and not have it filled. I was told it would be only 15 minutes and had to wait a 3/4 of an hour. This happened twice and I walked away very frustrated and exasperated.

The location was convenient. The services were all located in one building so I did not have to travel back and forth across town to get medical services. When I got the automated telephone service, it did not give me an option to tell it what services I was seeking and be able to direct me to the right medical department. I was not informed by the automated system to contact the Kaiser Occupational Therapy department instead of my regular physician regarding worker compensation paperwork. When I went to see my physician for an annual check up, I felt like I was "just another number". It took her no more than 10 minutes to give me a very brief medical checkup, asked a few brief typical questions, and sent me on to get a blood test. The service was very impersonal and I felt like I was being rushed during the whole appointment.

I like online prescription refills and appointment scheduling.

It is dependable and my doctor appointments are always on time. I also like having my prescriptions mailed to me. Also, my doctor is always available via e-mail if I have an emergency or question. Kaiser's phone system is really poor. You go through menu after menu only to be told that there is a long wait, or you are disconnected or that you are calling when the office is closed.

I like the advice nurse when I had a question. They could improve returning calls. I called on Nov 5 ,2007 with numbness to my foot, and never recived a call back. I have diabetes. My advice is keep calling do not be passive about your own medical condition .

The staff in the labs and the phlibotomists were extremely polite. They could improve poor explanation and feedback regarding tests performed. Be careful when you order precriptions on the phone. Mail delivery can take two weeks, and the telephone menu does not make that clear until after you've placed your order. The pharmacy lines are very long.

For the most part, KAiser is easy to deal with. Sometimes it takes a very long time to talk to someone on the phone or buy a prescription at Kaiser. With all medical providers, they do a very bad job of setting up routine yearly or periodic checkups (like dentists have in place every 6 months). Kaiser has a relatively young medical staff - not as experienced as what you may find elsewhere.

I like the care and attention the medical professionals paid to the details of my medical needs.

I like the fact that I could e-mail my Dr. anytime and get an answer to my question. I've been a member of Kaiser for over 40 years, no complaints. However, I'm 66 and still can't convince my Dr. that I should have a colonostophy.

I feel sincere interest in my well being. They could improve easier access to specialists. Find a primary care physician you can trust and depend on.

Prompt care and comprehensive testing repeatedly rendered upon requests determined to be of an urgent nature. routine screening measurements done prior to exam need to be more accurate. I don't believe I could have had a more successful outcome to my major surgery outside of Kaiser.

Doctors were very helpful. I was very pleased with my service for the past year. If anything I had to wait a very long time for a planned surgery. But being with Kaiser is the best choice I have ever made for health coverage. I have had every plan offered over 30 years and I am please the most with Kaiser.

I've been a member since 1988 and 2 of my children were born there and I can tell you that my family has received the most excellence of care at Kaiser, Vallejo CA.

i really like my primary doctor. the medications could be a little cheaper -like they use to be--before the formarly way. living in the sacramento area kaiser has many facilities one can go to i am on oxygen 24/7

I liked their follow-up on my husband. They could have a greater selection of doctors. You have to learn the 'Kaiser' system in order to get what you want or need. Kaiser is not very flexible. For instance, if a medication is not on their formulary, they are very resistant to, and at times refuse, to cover any part of a Rx that you feel more confident in taking.

December 28, 2007

I like ordering percriptions though the mail. They should keep medical services (ALL) at the Martinez Kaiser Facility.

December 28, 2007

The doctors are great at Kaiser, once you get beyond the bureaucracy and get to see one. The phone system at Kaiser. It sometimes takes too long to get to speak to someone. Sometimes I get cut off and have to explain my situation again, sometimes as many as three times.

December 28, 2007

I like that I could email my doctor for matters that didn't necessitate an appointment. I'm totally satisfied. I think Kaiser is on the growing edge of what managed care can and should be.

December 28, 2007

Easy to make app. on line Great to get test results online. I felt that the people I delt with were caring. and interested in making me feel as well as possible. I had only three appt. this last year so I can't think of any improvement needed. I was surprised at our cost goin up.

December 28, 2007

I like that they are sensitive to LGBT relationships. Go beyond the first results - Don't let them brush you off.

December 28, 2007

I like the low co-pay. They could improve getting to see a specialist easily. i suffered with a plugged ear and it took 3 visit to my GP to finally have her recommend an ear nose aNd throat specialist, who drained my ear in one session. all told it took 3 months..way way too long
