I have seen some good doctors. I would like more communication with primary doctor. I have to send her faxes as I cannot get her on the phone. Sometimes Blue Shield bills me unnecessarily.

Unlike last year, with Health Net, whenever I telephoned with a question to Blue Shield, I reached a helpful, intelligent person. I would like clarification as to how Blue Shield/Medicare work in regard to co-pays, which is primary payer, etc.

I see a Doctor that has a small one person office they didn't get my information right so the bills come to me and I need to straighten them out. I am quite happy with the service that I recieve from Blue Shield

I am able to continue with the same physicians and nurse practioners that I already knew. But I would prefer not to have to wait 3 to 6 months to see a doctor. Why is everyone so busy? Also the difficulty that the UCSF billing department has with a Medicare/Blue Shield payment is inexcusable. Perhaps I should apply for a job with these organizations, after all the phone calls I am becoming more than qualified. Thank you for reading my diatribe.

I like our primary care physician. My advice - if your plan includes a prescription drug mail program, consider using it. Several years ago we started using Blue Shield mail order and the service proved to be very convenient. The Post Office never lost a package and we could renew on-line.

Good quality and coordination between specialists. When I had a question about Blue Shield coverage, their representative was very patient and took time to research the answer.

I like my endocrinologist. it was easy to get our new daughter enrolled with her own MD. Easy to deal with the bills associated with her first MD appts. I think co-pays are too high.

Approval of my durable medical goods orders were delayed sometimes up to three weeks.

I like that I am treated as a human being,; known, cared about and educated to maintain my own health as much as possible. my doctors are simply the best. They are also faith based professionals. Just please do not allow this plan to raise its' rates and co payments, especially when they claim to be giving big charitable sums to the community. I am the community.

Very happy with Blue Shield coverage up to this point. I think they could have done better referring to a specialist sooner than I was.

Prompt attention to address my physical condition. Blood tests can take a very long time waiting in line at Hospital because something as minor as a blood test is treated as a new hospital admission even if the Hospital has all current information on me and my health coverage.

I changed my primary care physician who takes a more personal interest in my health. I was satisfied with all of the doctors and services I received this past year. Eliminate automated phones. I like getting hold of a real human voice.

Medical service is not the issue. Doctors aren't BlueShield doctors. It is the plan, the prior authorization and the bureaucracy that are the problem. Being declined for coverage, given the run around by medical bureaucrats, the difficulty getting prior authorizations handled.
