- VSP Vision
HSS members and eligible dependents who are enrolled in the City Plan PPO, Blue Shield HMO or Kaiser HMO are automatically enrolled in the VSP vision plan. (If you do not enroll in a medical plan, you will not have vision plan coverage.) Under this plan, you can choose either a VSP network doctor or a non-VSP provider. If you use a VSP network doctor you will have lower out-of-pocket costs for covered services. To receive service from a VSP network doctor, simply call to make your appointment - no ID cards are issued.
